Default WTB gc8 bits

hi guys
going over my engine bay, the previous owner has removed a few stupid little bits for some weird reason...

looking for the following to suit a 99-00 wrx

- tmic bracket (pic below) basically its the bracket that bolts onto the mount on the right hand side of the tmic

- covers for the bonnet 'vents', that bolt on from underneath

- 'fake indicator' bits that sit over that little hole underneath the indicators on the front of the car next to the foggies

- a left hand side foglight or a pair... (my brother's wrx has 2 right side foglights fitted for some reason)

- stock ram air scoop and intake resonator/kidney (inside guard)

will sort out purchase price if anyone has any of these parts lying around they are willing to part with
also, if anyone knows where else i would be able to get these from, please let me know

cheers,
jeremy

1) Dont need if one side has a bracket its plenty to hold it

2) do need, you'll get all sorts of shit in your bay and might short out electricals

3) This just restricts cold air flow going to your resonator less airbox, but if it bugs you...

4) there was no air ram scoop on the gc8, this was only introduced on the my01, all the intake resonator did in the gc8 was suck air out of the engine bay instead of from the hole under the indicator. You might think you do, but you don't want this back :P

another wise I cant help ya

lcheers,

Vent covers off = better underbonnet airflow (they draw hot air out + you'll know when your rocker covers start to leak!)

Resonator removal = +10Kw

Is the car silver by any chance?

Second this... I fially got around to removing the intake resonator a couple of months back and I would NEVER put it back, got the plastic quarter panel plug/cover for ten bucks from Subaru to hide the gaping hole and put a DIY bellmouth 90mm PVC elbow in the airbox.

The sound of air induction and the plub-back BOV is awesome even for my stocker, makes it sound tougher than it really is haha

nah my car is a black 00 limited...

bracket for the intercooler would be nice, yes it does the job, but it wobbles etc, and cant look at it and not think its not good!

vent covers arent that big a deal, i know it probably breathes better, but the engine bay gets bullk dirty, and the right vent is right above the battery where fuses for amps etc are.. just cant help thinking its gonna cause problems :s

i like the setup without the resonator, but i thought i might need it in future if i want to go back to stock to sell etc

the stock 00 setup has a plastic scoop that takes air from above the headlights and directs it into the guard and into the resonator... even if i dont have a resonator on, wouldnt this part help put cold air into the guard?

cheers for the feedback guys
anyone got any of these bits or know where to get them?

ah yes a plug for that hole would work out better, thnx wozzernux, i suppose that would stop any engine heat getting in there..
i could make one myself, but is there somewhere that sells something like that cheap? lol

Yeah man Subaru sell the part for like $10, it's a plastic panel/plug that clips into the hole and seals it 99% from nasty hot air in the engine bay:

I have a set of TMIC brackets sitting in the shed at home. Throw me an offer and they are yours...
