Anyone working for Telstra new connection?
as above wonder if there is anyone here working for Telstra new connection? Would like to get my phone line connected.

lol, suck it up, dig ur trench, and pay ur $300! :P
its a complete ass raping, oh, and if ur planning on actually getting a phone line into your house, then be prepared to pay another $150 on top. trust me, i'm in the process of doing it all! Are there any people on here who can hook up the phone line thru the roof? I would be keen for a cashy...

I do 100's of these for iiNet customers every day :-)
the $299 charge does hurt especially when Telstra just need to Program the line from there end. Or send a tech to do a simple connection in the pit. Customers complain as to what the $299 charge is paying for.

it looks like there is no way around it, and gotta to pay $300 for the connection...
