he has to have cut springs...there is no way any lowered springs can go that low..my car was same as his by the sounds of it when I got it..until went over a bump and the rears fell out the struts...now got coilovers its lower than it was before..and yes its a c*nt of a thing to drive if U tune out and forget to be aware..of everything! lol and I cant make it up or down my driveway without laying timber planks first...lucky I dont have a licence so dont have to do that too often..when I get it back i'll rethink the ride height...
btw dude seems blommers got u sorted but if u wanna borrow my stock struts and can find some decent springs ur more than welcome. |

Mate I would use this as a time to some new springs put in or second hands but something slightly higher. You can still have them guards just above the wheels and get over, As you will only have this problem again
So glad i didnt go that low just dont have time to be going to the pits like that lol |

Just a thought.... Maybe he means its lowered 60mm, not 60mm off the ground? Just a thought, after all, there's been bigger confusion than that on here before!

i know for sure i will need to get some springs so thanks guys for the help i will PM you guys on the weekend to find out if i need to borrow some. thanks heaps again |

With the costs of pit inspection fees and the time you waste at the pits, I'd be changing the springs before you go over. Because they may not point anything else out that needs changing, why not give yourself the best chance of passing.
PS - You must be using very negative camber at that clearance!! What did they right on the defect notice/paper they gave you?? What were they defecting you for?

Yeah dude change it before you go over -be nuts not to. Rock up with it slammed that hard they are going to go over it alot more "carefully"
Raise it up, give it a good degrease, be nice and hope for the best with the rest of car. P.S respect for slamming it that hard
