That may be so but PWRX isn't the only place you can source a WRX from. Have you gone out and seen these cars or are you waiting for someone to build one to spec and drop it in your lap at your designated price?

I agree 05 STI's shouldn't be $40k still, like V6 STI's shouldn't be $25-30k, but sad thing is, they are, and they sell for this price, so technically, if that is the price they sell at, that is the market price, despite what redbook says.

You can get an almost 500hp GC8 WRX with a built motor and 6speed etc for $30k off these forums. Go buy that if you want something built with power.

03 - 04 is way below 30 grand so is 05. Mods aren't free no, but u don't get your money back for them either .. So yeah that's y they r still for sale, if they were such goood prices they would be snapped up

Rossco I agree with you , but the prices r still crazy

If you want cheap(ish) and modded Stis, suggest you include a search of the eastern states as well. and drive it back
