Just to bring this thread back.

Did you have any luck finding a mapper for the Syvecs?

I've just moved from the UK and am planning a fairly big power build (600bhp+) and I love the Syvecs its an awesome bit of kit. Made by Life Racing who make high end motorsport ecu's for Le Mans Cars etc. They've been re branded as Syvecs .

Ignore those that are saying its inferior to the Motec its nonsense. If anything its the other way round.

Roger Clark Motor Sport use one on their Gobstopper 2 and Andy Forrest uses one on the Fastest road legal Impreza in the world (8.1 on the Quarter Mile It's pretty quick round the track too holding the saloon car record round Knockhill in Scotland). AMS in the states use one on their record holding GTR too I think those are fairly hefty endorsements. Especially when you compare the cost of the two. The syvecs comes with everything ALS, Launch Control etc. They are all expensive add ons to the Motec.

Anyway back on topic, did you manage to find someone to map it?

I would be giving some local tuners a few phone calls start with Race Torque in Wangara, last time I was there they said they could tune syvecs and supply if needed, or the boys at Allstar garage.

Thanks, I'll give them a call.

Ironically the 2005 Widetrack STI I've just bought came from Wangara.
I'll do a build thread once I get started. Thanks for the info.

Simon Page 0410 362 990, he has a Syvecs and I believe he is running 600hp in his daily.

Have a chat with him, he knows his stuff.
