Yep, hard to tell at the moment, seems "OK" though. Was getting about 350km's on average from a tank, 400 if I ran it right down to the amber light, and you begin to get paranoid about breaking down on the stock ECU.

Autronic is going well, cold start is really good, no issues there. Do notice small differences here and there in how the engine behaves though with it compared to the stock ECU. A lot more pops and bangs and whatnot on the over-run, and that's with anti-lag disabled.

Got my head around the anti-lag and the rotational idle setup now. Both are very aggressive on the road and is to be used sparingly ..., but sounds very mental when used. Performance with anti-lag is very good, boost is immediate, and around corners it just wants to get sideways with the 2way LSD.

Not found a safe time, or spot yet, to to do antilag launch with launch control. Something for a RAC tuning session perhaps.

Half expecting the cat in the rear section of the exhaust is about to let go, and will need to be removed.

Oh, and the "fuel smell" from the old fuel lines under the manifold, which was the catalyst from doing all this work in the first place has gone, which is good, haha. How things just snowball out of control ...

Cheers

Fuel consumption is definitely up on the Autronic.

Probably about 50k/m per-tank roughly. I think this partly, or predominantly because it's still being fed fuel in over run more so than the stock ECU.

On that note, who cuts cats out of exhausts and welds up a new piece of stainless steel in its place?

I ended up cracking the material inside cat after using the antilig a few times...best way to clear it out...go for a real serious blast with antilag going flat out and just blast the cat material out of the exhaust....hollow cat.

Just be aware if you gut or otherwise remove a cat then a retune is likely needed to account for the additional air flow. I learnt that lesson the hard way 😐

Is it really that much difference in flow with a hi flow cat? A lot of these performance cats are marketed as if they make no negative difference in flow at all.

I wouldn't be too worried about the exsistance of your cat Ricardo it's probably gone if you have run the bang bang switch since new computer. Trust me I have destroyed a few in my car and replaced a few. The last cat lasted all off the drive home from exhaust shop with antilag the cat was cherry blossom red when I got home and eventually blew out haven't botherd since to replace it.

Yeah alright. Just was more worried about it getting stuck and blocked, as opposed to just disintegrating and blowing out. I have not seen anything come out, or evidence of such. So it might still be intact.

Some pics.
