Too much stretch is slightly retarded, but a little can look sweet.
Yeah was looking at running a 225 tyre on the 1" wider rim (it'll be 8.5" in total, but with the correct offset to have lots of dish). Thats not crazy amounts of stretch, but its still a fair bit.

Blair it looks cheap... Dosent matter if it costs more or so to do..

You can fit 255s under there, why put skinny arse 225s.. You can still get the dish with wider tyres so if your going wider just get wider tyres..

Im not suggesting he smash 225's on if he can easily fit 255's. But if fitting 255's is going to mean hacking the shit out of the guards, why not just drop it back a few sizes and make it easy?

And how can you say it looks cheap? Its just a different style. Like it or not.

About half that, landed.

If anyone is interested in a set, let me know because the NASIOC vendor has about 2 sets remaining.

I'm with Blair on this one... If you can't fit a wider tyre under the guards without suffering bulk rubbing, I'd definitely be looking at a slightly thinner tyre stretched to fit to prevent rubbing!

Plus... Its not like Joe is going to be suffering from massive wheelspin...? It is still an AWD after all!... And Joe is driving it*!

* May or may not actually happen!
