cheers and did consider but sti tips narrow down by 15mm diameter for a good 50mm from the actual box. This means if you chop them off they will be too short for the bumper.

I also have Hitech mufflers also but find when first started in the morning i.e. cold the exhausts make a loud hollow sound then within a minute once heat gets into them they are fine. Overall not too loud and no drone - very happy

thanks Bruce, well this is the first morning I have done a cold start with them on but dont recall hearing anything like you describe. Guessing it will take a bit of carbon build up to get the final result. Are you running a TBE Hitech system? What size is your centre pipe?

running catback Hitech quads with custom RMS dump and downpipe. Not sure of the centre pipe size.
