Yep, I bought a bit of fencing. Ivan bought a row of treated pine logs, all still fun though. I would be very nervous competing in anything more than a skid pan without a harness. I'm ok without a cage as long as I'm not sliding around in the seat.
I have 2 new rotary buckle harnesses in stock that you can use as a 4/5/6 point. $200/set. Obviously you can only fit the cockstrap when you later upgrade to a racing seat with a hole, but the buckle is on the lap belt so they are ideal to also be used 4 point in a recliner seat without the crutch hole. I have the template for the rear mount point too, you can copy it and make your own.

Took the car to Barbs last night with a family friend's car club (Triumph Sports Owners Association) and got my first shot at Barbagello.

Improved 5 sec on each track throughout the night

Best short: 1:01.9887
Best long: 1:12.5136]

That back straight on the long track is scary, coming up over the ridge going on 180-200kph... Also at night on the back winding corner, very hard to push with a good line, hard to see with all the lights.

Will definately be going again.

Haha I was surprised by the fact I only saw one break down.

A couple of them were getting into the 56/57 sec bracket on short track. It was an interesting mix, most of them hammered harder than I expected

About to proceed with 6 speed install.

Considering the Jim Berry clutches and want some feedback from those that have them.

I've heard they are a really good unit, but what are the benefits?

Car is mainly used as a track hack with occasional street use when the other car/s are out of action.

Handling 280-300hp.

I know he does an organic clutch and button, which should I go for? (If any)

Jezza, Jim Berry clutches are basically blueprinted, increased clamp, rebuilt pressure plates supplied with the best organic disc you can get or his own manufactured button disc. And a new bearing of course. He goes to great lengths to ensure everything is 100% perfect. Zero contamination, surfaces perfectly flat, pivot ring perfectly centric with the diaphragm etc.
One of Jim's clutches won't necessarily handle more power than an over the counter clutch with the same clamp and a comparable disc however you can rely on it working exactly as it should from day one and just about guarantee it won't shudder. I've used his clutches in my own rally cars and in customer's cars when reliability and end result are more important than cost alone or when something outside the normal is required eg Tino's car.
I reluctantly used an over the counter button in my blue rally car just before Targa South West because I had run out of time to order one from Jim and it failed. With respect though it had some uphill starts with hot race tyres so it was not totally unexpected but I feel the Jim Berry button would have taken it in its stride.
