good mods there

I have the Whiteline front-diff lock support kit sitting at home and was going to have Dougy install it on the Foz but took one look at it and told me it was a carnt of job.

off topic: cant be that hard to swap Dave? i know its a piss easy job on the pre liberty suspension setup but maybe theres more to it with +08 onwards?

Well what can I say Shane ... Excellent work

I somehow knew that morning we met that you were deadly serious about making your car extremely well modded and that you have done.

Big ups mate.

Edit - All the best for the exams and just noticed the "list". Thanks for including me in such an great group of people.

Thanks Dave, Muggz and Andrew (you are on the list as you have always been more than happy to have a chat, a laugh or help me out like the others on said list), appreciate it guys!!

All Done. Cant speak highly enough of STechnic, best service every time. Will be getting the car serviced there from now on, just peace of mind really.

New pads + rotors pull up a treat, but the whiteline diff-lock support kit is awesome, rear end feels a lot tighter when on up-shifts under wot. Anyone wanting to have it done I would say do it but it does cause a fair bit of added NVH (whining, clunking, etc). Personally I love the extra noise (yeah I'm weird), feels very rally car like haha.

Shifter bushings make a little difference too, slightly less play and better shift feel.

As I said, will be dying to get out on the pan after exams are done, itching for a proper drive.

Shot of the new rotors (8MP mobile pic):

So, future plans..you can see what I want to do with the car.

-Strip rear of car (carpet, trim, seat belts)
-Strip stereo
-A050's onto stock 17's (painted gloss black) for Barbs (want to set a time )
-STechnic Pitch Stop Mount
-SuperPro control arm bushes (front and rear)
-SuperPro trailing arm bushes
-Whiteline rear sway bar mount
-Seat time and lots of it

No plans for a bigger turbo (tempted as I may be) as I have always said, I'm happy controlling 200hp/400Nm with the humble TD04. Rather make it better under brakes and through the corners.

Cheers,
Shane.

Awesome work shaneo!
I do like the way your piggy looks, epically clean with some tidy CF mods helps the cars appearance.
I would suggest a shedload of seat time in this to find where the limits are at (one would assume quite high). I think the brakes should be just about sublime now on the car and you should be able.to stop on a dime.

As for barbs, dont worry about r comps yet, run the street tyres to set your first couple of laps and get a feel for what its like doing circuit driving with some decent pace.
For me, a 60sec lap of the short track is an easy target in the car.
Pity you wont find out now for aaaages :-(

Nice Shane! Interested in you producing 400nm though. I only just got that with the 207, vf37 and 23psi.

I like the idea of 400Nm on a 2.0L, must feel awesome when that hits.

Dont worry Russ, it only lasts for about 1k between 3-4k rpm. After that its all down hill. 15psi is too much for the "mighty" TD04. Great on the street and skid pan.

As I said, I'm happy with it right now, pulls up well and my god can it corner for a humble wrx. As Dave suggested, I'll head out to Barbs on the S-Drives a few times and then go for broke with some A050's on the thing.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.
