Red face Few issues

So I have a had a couple of little issues with the car since the TD05 went on

Had a CEL a few weeks back, had it checked out by Subaru, all good (though from memory I am sure I ran into the limiter....idiot I am).

Today on the way home from work (took the rest of the day off as I am sick) the intercooler y-pipe came off the turbo when I put the foot down in second.

Got the clamp and pipe back on with my Dad's help (happened pretty close to my home so very lucky there) though will be doing it properly tommorow when we have some time. Don't know if there are any longer y-pipes out there to the Process West one.

Thinking of going to RaceTorque and getting the stock air-box + STI filter put back in and a re-tune running less psi (running 17psi now), maybe down to 16?

Thoughts lads?

-Shane

I've had the same issue with my PW y-pipe. Not sure on a longer y-pipe, let me know if you find anything.

I've just tried to pull the y-pipe down on the TMIC inlets so that there's more to go over the compressor housing of the turbo - it's still a bit short though.

Not sure why you would bother dropping 1psi - you really arnt changing the world, for less power?

I see your point, maybe i'll just chuck the airbox + STI filter back on + re-tune, I am sure CAI lost me torque for power.

Lads,

I got a little bored so I decided to throw up a few pics of the car with the SSR's + Kics when they were just fitted about a month ago.

The original plan was to have some professional shots taken at the recent photography cruise but I missed that and the JDMWA photo cruise shortly after due to illness.

Sorta gives you an idea. Best I could do with a 10MP camera + minor adjustment in photoshop. SLR camera is on the plans but that's later in the year so these will have to do for now.

Car is also in @ RTorque next week for a retune with the stock airbox + STI filter. More torque is all I want.

Oh and just a heads up, going lower is not an option for now. The car is daily driven and can just clear the speed bumps @ ECU in Joondalup which were made by the devil himself, so hellafunctional it is for the next few years.

Cheers,
Shane.
