I'll be doing 5k kms < 0.5 bar, mineral oil only for the entire run in. Changes @ 1,000, 3000 & going to 5w30 mobil1 @ 5000.

Excessive? probably.....but it's my plan.

When you think about it, 1,000 km isn't a lot and you should get past it quite easily.
Plan a few day trips down south or up north to get some extra km on the clock.

Negative.
Vortex generators don't look good on a Subaru, leave them for the evos

Mate I was sitting there in a total state of 'wtf drugs is this guy on', before I read that

I quite like the rear-defuser but understand the hesitance of cutting into your car. The vortex generator kinda looks incomplete/like a string of shark fin aerials to me.

Personally I'd do it as it looks awesome.

PM Zombee and ask if he can take some pic's of his from various angles.

Re: The wear in time, personally I'd air on the side of caution in case something goes wrong and it gets traced back to improper running in procedure.

Also take into consideration that new cars have their 'run-in', oil changed after 5,000kms and your motor is pretty much that now.

Yeah I know it isn't that bad, just haven't had my car for quite a while and get it back but got to granny shift haha ><

Yeah, probably should leave it for the evos... If only I didn't have to drill holes for a roof spoiler, I saw one that says it uses double sided tape to mount.. but I'm certain that will come flying off into a car behind me ...
