Should save for some new rims and buy propper r comps mate. Run any tyres for daily work etc. No road tyres compare to r comps.

unfortunatly, i want R-comps but cant justify 2k min on r-comps when im also trying to put cash away for a house.

I figure i can get those under 1k fitted and done, they will last ages.

plus ive still got 2 sets of shit tyres to destroy on the 17's lol

the hankooks are good or the ado8 are also good but retail close to r comp prices though. You got any plans for your dump pipe you car needs to breath a bit more hint hint

I'll just leave this here.
Wheels, Tyres & Accessories | Trackday | Home | JJC Race & Rally

They ship to our little island, answer emails promptly and are generally quite easy to work with considering they are on the far side of the rock.

They have heaps of dicey sizes though.
235/45/17 only leaves me with a few options.

Toyo r888 and yoko a048.
Wouldnt go federals, havent heard good things :-/

What about those Hankooks that donnen guy is raving about in his Betty thread via tire rack?

I'm still baffled as to why the us and uk don't stock A050s..

A young fella I work with showed me the JJC site and he got 235/17 fronts and 275/17 rears delivered for less than $850.
I dont remember the brand he chose though.

For the price I would prefer a second choice in Rcomp than street tyres, but thats just me.
There are heaps of other suppliers as well.

I hate buying stuff online when I can get the same product local but some times the price difference is massive.

If it is the Fedrals that the No Limits guys were running, remember they weren't r-comps - which I believe most of the issues were as the guys thought they were. Just a higher end street tyre like the Hankooks you are looking at.

You should be able to get some 888s from the UK for ~$1000. They be way better than most street tyres.
