Do the koni struts have the same nice deep curved cups for the springs to mate to top/bottom like the oem struts, or are they the flat interface type like the majority of coilovers?

Rears are flat as they are a completely new strut, the fronts are an insert and therefore retain the OEM strut housing and lower spring perch.
They look no different from OEM once assembled (the fronts that is).

The people that I have spoken to in regards to this issue believe that there is movement between the insert and the housing, even though everything it torque down to Koni's specification.
Grabbed a set of MY10 front struts and prepared them the same and took them to STechnic to show how tight a fit they are.
I have a spare insert and I've placed it in the housing and can't move it at all, that said I'm sure the weight of the car would be able to make it move if there was space.

There was a popping noise that was experienced when you would turn left or right after the car had been sitting for a while, this noise is now completely gone.
I can assume that it was either one of the WL products fitted to the car, or possibly something that was loose but has now been tightened up?

Either way a good result

Ruled out everything now except for the end links and swaybar/bushings, I expect the koni struts/inserts are the source of the noise.
Don't have the stock suspension so I can't rule it out at the moment and to be honest, I'm giving up on caring
Soksta NOT CARING about noise ... fuck me the world is spinning backwards

Thanks!
I'm hopeful that some people will be able to learn from my thoughts/mistakes/adventures with the car!

Got annoyed with the sound of dragging flaps all over the shop, so these are now off the car and won't be going back on.
Noticed that 50% of the plastic clips were missing from the rear bumper when I was under the car, not too sure if these were not put back in when the new bumper was installed or if they have fallen out over time.
Had a bunch of new ones sitting in a box from Subaru, so it wasn't a problem

Do you have the MCA reds in yet? If so how are you liking them? From what I have read/heard, they are Aussie hand assembled and meant to be pretty decent.
