So it must have been added in translation.

Indeed it is. For a little more lag over the old vf8; certainly packs alot more of a punch! And doesn't break when you've got no BOV.

A TD05 has a 90 degree elbow cast into the compressor housing, it cannot fit any WRX later than 96 spec without the front being modified.

After 96 all WRX had the intake under the manifold and used IHI turbos or TD04's.

Tom sold it to me doug :P

The v3 donk that went into his gf8 offroader? He got a vf8 for that, and I bought the td05 off him.

Thats were the wires are crossed.
Tom's V3 half cut went into his Gen 2 lib.
His offroader is a stock standard 96ish ADM WRX.

I went down the complete wrong path, cheers for clarifying that.

It is indeed from a '96 AUDM WRX. I misunderstood him; I thought the v3 donk went into the gf8.
