Bwaaahahaha Mr serious strikes again.

Out of curiosity what's actually different between them besides the shift pattern?

How does the actual knob make the reverse engagement differ Stace, isn't that part you lift up completely separate to the knob (if that's what you're talking about)?

There's a recess in the bottom of the 6 speed knob so that the reverse collar can slide into when you lift it up. The OEM 5 speed knob doesn't have that. But Im not sure about the duracon copy.

I had a real 5spd duracon one when I had my 07WRX and I've also got the real 6spd one now and the only differ is the shift pattern.

eBay ones are all the same and I also believe the genuine ones are the same, so Corey you fail!

Yes correct but I remember having a good look at it and it has the recess underneath as I thought it was odd to have a massive gap there and they also have the same thread size aswell.

Funny how a comment which was a joke about using liquid paper to make a 5spd knob a 6spd turns so serious kekeke but good info for people curious about any differences.
