Wonder if the stock 08 ECU would be able to compensate for say a 30% ethanol blend within its limits when tuned? Get 2 tunes one on 98 and one with a blend and just swap them when you need.

I'll be risking the 255 enough as it is just putting a bigger turbo on and upping the boost. No need to add to the risk factor. If I wanted to do that I'd get it tuned by...

For those not on my Facebook / SOWA group:

What a shit day so far. Took the day off work as I'm fighting a cold/flu that has knocked me about. However I was looking forward to the end of the day where I would get to pick up my car after having quite a bit of work done to it this week.

Positives:
1) 312hp / 429.5nm - A gain of 63hp / 53.2nm
2) Changing JUST the muffler at the back of the hatch actually freed up a lot of restriction. Extremely surprised at that. It actually sent the AFR's and boost a bit wild, so let that be a warning to those who want to put diff-backs on their 2.5L's (I got a baseline run done before they worked on the car and compared it to my original tune done 3+ years ago).

Negatives:
1) can't drive it, due to;
2) brand new injector leaking through the pins
3) $150 spent on Uber going to Canningvale to pick up a new injector, then out to Malaga to find out it won't fit (Injector Dynamics have modified the cap size so it's either bigger or smaller or some shit)
4) Tuner is away next Monday
5) Have to fork out for another set of injectors and deal with refund/credit note down the track
6) Have to fork out for more dyno time when replacement injectors go in.

Result:

Bad luck with the injector.

I had a similar experience recently when Racetorque changed my rear muffler - lost 30kw. Car needed a completed retune.
