Yeh, already purchased but cheers for the offer. How much did it cost to get the hats reanodised and where at if you don't mind me asking?

SolarFilms - I'm the same... not a huge fan of ghetto DIY but I reckon it could be put together a heap neater for those who are OCD.

i got them done by the guy who re-painted my rear brembos. He goes by the user name 'cruisn' on ozfoz (and possibly other suby forums) and does alot of caliper repaints etc. i think he did it for nothing when he did my calipers?

Don't be such a chequebook racer, get in there and do your own DIY mods Craig! Don't want to have to call you Raj.

moneys made to be spent. ATO gives you a 7k happy birthday, you damn well better spend it before they change thier mind. What better things to spend it on than car mods.

Still seems (albeit a bit more difficult initially), but more practical in the long term, to have a hobbs pressure switch (15psi), running against a dual-pump wiper water bottle in the engine bay.

At least this dual-pump bottle was the go on the GD chassis, not sure about the hatches.

Stewart Warner-Stewart Warner - Hobbs Pressure Switch 15 psi Normally Open 2 Terminal - 76052-76052.

Outside of that set up, it's basically a boot mounted tank, and more complicated setup, or the short-cut in the video above.

I found the window washers dont have enough flow, so i bought a fish tank water pump and mounted to the battery.

My hobbs switch is set to 10 psi, i like it to work before boost start to kick in, there is some delay on cooling effect theoretically.

i also added a manual overwrite switch to use during traffic jam

Understandably, however this has nothing to do with your sarcastic remarks and more to do with the satisfaction of achieving something practical. But Craig, I totally understand the lack of time to do something oneself, there is lots of stuff I don't get done and have to pass on to others, but I'm fortunate enough to have a shitbox to go to work in for weeks on end if I'm only able to get a few hours a week to spend on whatever latest thing I'm doing to the garage queen.

Looking forward to seeing how it pans out.

FYI, got see Matty palmers at auto pro canning vale and get him to order in new seal kits for the brembos. It's a piece of piss to rebuild them and if they have had a hard life prior to you owning them, they will feel like brand new. Plus it's like $100 for a full kit it think.
