i prefer the matt black ones. I reckon, what ever you get, make them match your wheels. So if your wheels are a matt/satin finish... go matt flaps.

TROLLEY 10-12-2011 05:33 PM

Matte

At the moment they are matte, but not sure when I change them. I think the glossy ones look a bit fake? Why would rally cars have glossy mud flaps?? Might also show scratches?

N1GHTH4WK92 10-12-2011 05:39 PM

Matte, the glossy look a bit chinesy.

Saint_23 10-12-2011 07:09 PM

Matt black Steph.

SJTWRC 10-12-2011 07:29 PM

Thanks guys, I've decided on the matte black with red writing :)

TarmacSTi 11-12-2011 08:11 AM

oh so im guessing you are talking about the coilovers here yes?

well could you please educate me as to why spending $3k+ for a set of coilovers that will never see a track and will only ever be used to adjust height would be a logical?

what i got was the same price as i would have gotten springs for and 1/3 of the price as most non "china" coilovers.

teejay 11-12-2011 10:56 PM

I think he meant the lip and roof?

XT43 11-12-2011 11:02 PM

Winner winner chicken dinner

SJTWRC 11-12-2011 11:12 PM

Excuse me guys, take ur comments else where. Obviously ppl are.going to have diffrent opinions on things, what's the point in being all the same?

///M 12-12-2011 08:33 AM
I think he meant the lip and roof?
shows how little he knows about my car then huh?

the roof is wrapped? dont think its "china", but for a real cf roof im happy for him/you to pay the 6k minus shipping minus fitment for me?

the lip is actually from the UK so not really sure how thats china either but all good , I still wouldnt spend 2k on a front lip thats going to be destroyed by general day to day use, fair enough if it was a garage queen.

Also shows how little any of this 'not china', along with frequent "Hey what you up to you w/e?" or "ur such a hottie!" seems to help you get any closer to achieving anything other than sms speak small talk with people who clearly are not interested.

Mister Two 12-12-2011 01:56 PM

Those are Enkei NT03.

Very light wheel. Though I'm not a fan of that ring connecting all the spokes together.

TarmacSTi 12-12-2011 02:07 PM

Ill keep on subject,
definitely excited to see the cusco front lip, will you be painting it red or going black?
sorry if youve already mentioned it :/

teejay 12-12-2011 02:07 PM

Cheap off tirerack too!

Saint_23 12-12-2011 02:10 PM

Only option for NT03's in 5x100 pattern is 18x8 in silver.
Contact tirerack.com they should be able to supply them.
I would guess $300USD each or thereabouts.

SJTWRC 12-12-2011 06:25 PM

Cheers guys having a look now.

I've been advised to paint it all red, although not decided if I'll paint the bottom protruding bit black to keep the red and black theme going.

teejay 12-12-2011 06:35 PM

Red lip black flaps will be a full on certified fail

Saint_23 12-12-2011 06:42 PM
Red lip black flaps will be a full on certified fail
Agreed. Keep lip black.

RichX 12-12-2011 06:46 PM

It's Christmas, Get the rims you like, buy some brembo's and might as well throw in some coilovers too.

You posted a picture on the last page of a red peanut with red skirts and black Rallyarmor mud flaps.
You posted a picture on the last page of a red peanut with red skirts and black Rallyarmor mud flaps.
Oh! I thought u guys meant black on the body work. I don't see what's wrong with red lip and black mud flaps? It looks good.

teejay 13-12-2011 08:46 AM

If you black flaps, then all the low points on the car should also be black.

Otherwise it will look like a tired dog with a big front overhang of red

American Dave 13-12-2011 08:52 AM

whs^^^

SJTWRC 13-12-2011 10:15 AM

I will PhotoShop it at home and see what will look like both ways.I still think it will look fine.

Jimmy S 13-12-2011 10:29 AM

No way can you do a cusco lip in black... It doesn't work...

Should look fine with black mudflaps..

With NT03's... Personally not my favourite wheel unless you go mega aggressive size/offset...
