Andrew - I don't think the turbo you mentioned will even go on the STi's due to the outlet/TMIC coupler not being rotated to point upwards like the 08+ WRX's and Legacy. The STi uses the standard (pre-08) configuration.
Your quite correct Trolley but the above Blouch is the same TD05-18G basis of the Legacy version that Shane and I have excepting ball bearings.

That would be the turbo I would get over the bigger Garrett based Blouch 1.5XT or XTR.

Td05 20g will make more difference right? And prepare to run into the fuel stumble issue, so better have extended fuel line mods ready if u wanna bigger turbo. 3port boost solinoid, turbo inlet r must have imo.

800cc inject is more than enough, oem ecu cant handle bigger injectors efficiently.

Happy modding!

Absolute rubbish.

I will agree though that a appropriate silicon intake, a better TMIC and a aftermarket boost controller set up as a 3 port v 2 port allowing better resolution is required to get the best from your larger turbo setups.

A decent dump pipe and zorst helps a lot as well.

Mitch go for the blouch 2.5 mate its what im running,30,000kms running 22psi with no problems.
1000cc ids also just requires a SKILLED tuner to get the lower range correct and happy days.
