Why torque so low?
Would have thought with the VF34, at that boost level on a 2litre, should be around 330-340NM??

My dyno below, at 17PSI and a slipping clutch. VF34 also with STI cooler and Walbro drop in. 3inch TBE

Missing around 30-50hp there.

Don't be shy with the boost. It will be quick, but can be quicker at 1.6bar

It would be nice if the graph had the rpm on it (lists it all as 0?) for comparisons.

Edit: Remember if comparing to ASG/EvoR they are using a hub dyno, not a roller like RT. Potentially a 15% change there.

Seems a bit low Ryan. I got done mine done at ASG with near identical mods and got just shy of 200kw with 340nm.

edit: just saw Kato's post. disregard what i said.

Yeah I thought it was a tad low, but at 17 PSI I'm not that surprised. Once the 100k km service is done I'll look at turning it up to 19/20 psi or so.

That's a good point about the hub vs roller dyno. Needs more bum dyno testing I think!

lol @ 2 extra psi. that is a waste of money taking it back to get tuned for a 2psi difference. you'll make that on a cold day.

go hard son!

ask Monkee about his heartbreak experinences on the Race Torque dyno, 1/4 mile time will tell you where it really is at now.
Kato and monkeee like this.

What Dave said.

I made 306HP/365Nm on RT's mainline roller. Made 265HP/390Nm on the MMS mainline roller (both ~18psi). Car feels the same everyday hahaha.

In other words...neither run meant much.

Both Lane (RT) and Dean (MMS) and a few members on here (namely Kato) told me too look for area under the torque curve (of which I have PLENTY). I wasted time stressing over dyno "numbers". Pointless exercise. I actually laugh at how silly I was but I guess thats how you learn.

Your curve looks fine Ryan and it feels smoother but stronger through the mid-range then you need not worry over peak figures.

I learnt from it and is now the reason why im booked in for the November and December No Limits night to set lap times for a real indication of how the car performs and to become better as a driver.
