The new motor was fitted by Race Torque at the end of October. When it was in there it was stock everything in terms of suspension etc. I was spending a lot of time up there at that stage and there was certainly no mention of the thing being anything other than a built motor.

I heard the car running. I could be wrong but it certainly did not sound 10 sec angry.

My understanding is that is melted a piston when it leaned out on the freeway supposedly doing silly speeds.

From memory it had P Plates aswell.
