I found powder coated rims were 100% easier to clean than painted.
The dust mostly just washed off with a good jet of water.

Spent a little time on it on Friday and today. All panels except bonnet are again stripped off. Roof is all rubbed back and another hour or two tomorrow and the shell should be all prepped for paint. Planning now to paint shell in next few weeks and then do all hanging panels shortly afterwards.
