This is going to be a great build. Sounded awesome the other day and was a very quick first time start as well. Guess all that time and effort fitting the STI loom was worth it. I just can't believe how bloody awesome this thing sounded since it was the first time it had been running in the new shell.

The body is very straight and looks to only need a prep and "quick flick of paint".

Will be good to try out some of your new ideas on this one rather than it just being a clone of your white wagon. Will be a pity to see the white one go but STI pink bits will make it worthwhile.

Is this going to have an early or late model dash?

Going to stick with the early dash for something different.

Had a little progress over the weekend.
First up I picked up and installed a short shifter.

Good to actually be able to select gears in it. Just need a clutch hose to be able to make it move under its own power.

Got out and did a few other bits and pieces over the last few days. Decided this arvo that the 15 year old paint on the inlet manifold had seen better days so got to and stripped it out. Local auto one had 2 cans on the shelf of the VHT SP204 so grabbed one of them and a little while later we had this.

I have a silicone intake going on while manifold is off. Also putting on new manifold gaskets and injector seals. Anything else worth doing while it is off?
Parallel fuel rails worth doing?
