Small update

Engine is out
Clutch is not in awesome condition which makes me sad - Neil @ MMS has concerns as he believes we will see at least 250kw out of the engine and not sure if the STi Clutch will handle the torque.
Cosworth TGV Deletes have o rings as does the plastic manifold so we are looking for gaskets to go in between.

Otherwise a few small wins so we are somewhat on target.
American Dave, XT43 and Saint_23 like this.

If this is the same clutch that went in only recently I dread to imagine what mine looks like.

If there are any concerns, I guess you should swap the clutch, but did you not do this along with the flywheel not that long ago?.

My STI made circa 240kw & whilst it used to slip a little launching hard off the line at the drags, it would never slip anywhere else. This was just an Extreme organic clutch, so nothing special.

Do you have picture of the underside of the manifold, showing the gasket?

Had a look at the clutch - it has a few hot spots on it but I don't think anything to be to concerned about so it will stay in

I thought the O-rings within the TGV deletes were there so you didn't need a gasket?

The ABS TGV deletes have an oring so they seal agains an alloy manifold. But the plastic manifold also has an oring. You cant seal an oring against an oring.
