Problem is the top mount will only match up to the plastic manifold, I bought jesters STi manifold being used working on the old car where I new every in and out to this thing that I have done bugger all myself.

So we are using small metal gaskets in between the o rings. Hey I would have just glued them both together

Thanks for the offers though

Would you be better off machining the O ring part out, as in make the sealing face flat on the manifold ( take it down in size 3 - 5 mm) & just use the O ring on the TGV to seal it?

O ring is probably the simplistic description - on the manifold it has a 5mm groove with a rectangular section rubber gasket.

To get rid of it would take too much out of the mount plate on the manifold.

Putting a metal gasket in between will give a flat surface for both sides.

I can't find an image of the "o ring" to show you.

1. Buy new IC to match new manifold
2. Dont require gaskets
3. Sell plastic manifold and old IC.
4. Profit?

Finish car and drive it with less fucking around.
