on most of my laps i was getting too around late 150's early 160's on the straight, on one of the laps i had traction control off, i hit 180's but after that i couldnt do it again, i think it was how i exited the corner...with a bit more practice hopefully i will get more consistant. S - bends about 70 however i couldnt get past the fear as it was my first time and ass end drifted right out and smoked up so i just went with it.
towards the end of the straight they setup - cones (in out in) i clipped one from not braking hard enough - told the guy and he fixed it.

took this on my 3rd lap in - "3 min video" i think my driving line is pretty decent for first go but can definately improve in/out corners.

How many laps did you end up doing on the day?

Was there plenty of time between runs to cool down?
(even though its fast course so there would be plenty of airflow during the run to keep temps semi sensible )

judging by the go-pro roughly 14 laps including runs that had 2 laps - idea is when people pull out to cool down you keep going then when the line gets busy again you can let your car cool down.

plenty time for cool downs - just pull to the side and wait a couple laps - theres no rush

i popped my bonnet a few times - good oportunity to take videos of others and have a drink break.

Haven't had a reply from N-1 in a few days, I hope business is still alive as I need a new lip after the front of my car had a fight with road works.

REXXXED - a big NO to removing the front badge. I looked at doing it, and it looks 1000 times worse with it removed. There is a big thick black bar sitting behind the badge that looks really, really shit with nothing in front of it.

Small update -

DBA 4000 xs rotors fitted all round with Hawk HPS pads plus bleed.

fabricated my own very easy extinguisher bracket.

if anyone wishes to copy -

- 1 mtr flat bar
- measure - bend to where you want it to sit (vice, pliers, brick LOL)
- mark your spots - cut with grinder or hacksaw - allow for bend radius
- drill car seat bolt holes and extinguisher mount holes into flat bar - after measuring
- fix the mount to flat bar
- i added heatshrink to the bar to give it a clean black interior like finish - warmed up til its flush.
- note - i decided as i dont have people in my car that the height of the extinguisher would interfere with the seat lever - im not fussed - i still get 3 clicks forward from all the way back.

- WALLAH

pic below - cheers all

TROLLEY and steve-lang like this.
