Im open to correction, but his 08 Betty has 17 x 7 +53 as stock unless he has changed them?

Wasn't 100% sure which way the question was going, hence the MY11 part at the front

as am I, i thought they were +48 mind you can never get a straight answer off google lol. If thats the case +45 shouldnt look all that bad ??

Thats your call to make!

Go stick a ruler on the side of your tyre and eyeball out 20mm and thats where your 8" +45 rims should roughly sit.

if im at 17x7 +53 now and go to a 18x8 +45

the difference in outer extension will be 21mm and my inner will be 5mm less.

id say that would be close to flush -well pretty close too ?

cheers for that so the difference now is 23 mm basically the extra inch of the bigger rim.

yeeee gonna need to lift the back end LOL, about 1.5 cm above the current setup or il scrape.

nah, dont want to either. il just lift it, then stiffen a notch a so, i got full adjustables on. its on legal limit now so a cm here n there isnt an issue
