Looks awesome!!! Now to install the overlays.. To be honest it's not that hard.. but it IS a two person job and very fiddly.

Looks good!
Glad the instructions helped.
Is there a small gap between the new trim and the rear gate?

Looks a lot better. I have a spare one (thanks Soksta) that I'll get painted and chuck on. Going to do the overlays first though.

thanks mate, im pretty happy. Depending on how fussy i get and how much time i have i might take it off and adjust it...i think its 1.5mm up on one side causing it to sit funny...its only 4 bolts and interior off so il have a look at it. overlays go on Monday $50 to have them installed but at least il know its done right. Tune is now on Friday as racetorque had a couple silly issues this morning with ecutek and the new firmware thats out sad for me but id rather it done right.

Fark!! $ 50.00 is good considering how much f*cking around there is. I'm tempted to order some more and do them again PROPERLY. LOL Looking forward to seeing how they look when installed??

Yea, Yusree from protec Tinting is Ozzy park, has done all my cars for me and he said its an hours work so just pop in. $50 is more then exceptional and at least he will have the eye for detail.
i will post pics on completion. im worried because i dont have flared guards like the new models..the look may be let down a little but see how we go. then jsut to get this tune downand save up for some rims and a few months time. slowly but surely

these will most likely be next - with a set of federal 595rpm

not sure how well the +45 offset will sit but il find out, otherwise a set of Rota dpt's will be going on. I think for extra $250 the Enkei would be better ?

Depends how wide you're going with the rim. 7.5"-8" might not come out as much as you would like but 8.5"-9" at +44/45 might go alright.

They only come in an 8" rim for the 5x100 bolt pattern.

From stock, they will extend a further 23mm out. They also do a +35 offset as well in the 5x100 bolt pattern according to their website (I tried to find a set but had no luck) which will add another 10mm width from the +45.

HUggy,

arent stock rims +48 offset ?

so wouldnt that mean i'd only be 3mm in width of benefit to the guards ? as it being an 8inch rim doesnt that mean it just goes deeper into the car towards the diff etc... ? and the lower offset means outwards towards the kerb ?

is my understanding wrong ?

shame only an 8 inch rim, im starting to think Ultrex Classic's might be the better alternative ? 8 at +42
