I used hi-temp engine paint for mine, satin finish. Can get at bunnings, SCA, etc

Nothing major, quickly sanded off the chrome back to the plastic, washed thoroughly and let dry. Mine's still going great with no peeling issues.

Doesn't show the paint or anything but here's what it turned out like:

Haha yeh i painted mine yesterday. I just used a heat gun but and worked my way around. I didnt feel comfortable putting my car in an oven.

did mine today worked sweet thanks for the tips lads, 90 degrees for about 20 minutes and was easy enough to pull apar.t

Yeh if i could do it again i would prob bake it. I could do only one side at a time and had tO use a screw driver to help pry it apart which left some marks.
