This car is a bit like a focus RS...why didn't ford and Mazda go 4wd with such cool platforms and engines. What fun it could have been....

You are doing a great job though to make it funkier.

Can't believe the Americans bolt GTX3076's on these things....

GTX30 is more suited to the built motors and E85, the GTX28 is more streetable. Plus GTX30 is major overkill for my use.

AWD would be great, but still buckets of fun FWD car

Plenty of goods results from other OZMPS members and for only $200 - $300 for 30 days of service (map revision/changes until map is sorted) not a bad deal.
Have you tried asking ASG?

Another OZMPS has recently and it was basically we have tuned COBB but not a MPS and the guy went with a E-Tuner and had great success. When the time get closer I will ask them about perhaps fitting parts and see what they think they can do with tuning it.

I'd suggest having a chat to them, ASG recently completed work on an RX8 and also a few others.

Well ASG doesn't tune COBB for the MPS. So E-Tuner looking more likely now.

Another shop I was told who may have a chance of tuning it is RAMP AUTO GROUP. Anyone dealt/heard of them?

I'm sure what they are getting at is doing open source ECU tuning via the OBDII port...?

I know some guys on the golf forums have used Ramp Auto Group, not for tuning though. Had reasonable reviews for parts/servicing anyway.

I asked about tuning in general.

Clearing my INBOX and found a PM from Mao discussing tuning COBB, so that will be my next option.
I also have emailed E-TUNERS and have got some encouraging replies from enthusiastic Tuners.
