Unless things have changed;
Currently in wa, you still pay full registration for b rego cars. However, Can only drive; to & from events, for repair / maintenance & for sponsors.
Thus they still require rego plates. You can pay extra for rally wa plates..

Yep ours has Rally Rego, and normal plates. It still costs us the same as full rego, even though it only drives on the road 8 weekends a year.
