the other thing that struck me as odd. when my DW300 failed. i replaced it with another dw300 that i bough pre-installed in a radium surge can direct from radium. The pumps were different, the plastic section was a different colour and it had different numbers on the case. i though it was due to the new pump being newer etc. But it could have been because the old one was not a genuine? just thinking aloud.

My dw300 failed a few months back. Was 3 months old

Purchased from PSR.

Common trend with these pumps.

Afaik the only drop in pump for the newer STI's is the DW65c

using the Perth-WRX mobile app

That's what other suppliers and performance shops are saying too so far...

I'm not buying into that PSR shit. The dude at VisionR here in Perth was moaning to Dave(Racetorque) he has had a few fail too so it must be a dud batch still floating about.

Racetorque had a Walbro 255 pump that looked like it would fit length wise but would need slight modification to the cradle to support the pump. But Dave was adamant that it would not be enough headroom on e85 in a 257. They still want to try and fit the 350-400l Walbro pump shown in the pic. http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/830168-post163.html

What are peoples thoughts on that as I have no fucking idea about that sort of stuff? My brother says go the bigger pump, he has a 500+hp F6 what would he know right?

Serbaru if read this can you recall what duty cycle your fuel pump (DW65) and id1000 injectors were at on your 08 when it was on e85?
