If i remember correctly when i had the black betty i was crossing the line just before limiter in 4th gear, i rarely changed into 5th as i felt that the extra gear change slowed down the times when comparing. My trap speed was 186ish km/h from memory. I noticed on your run you changed very early to 5th. I know many people say there is no peak power after certain revs however in my case i found staying in 4th worked best. Maybe on the odd pass i was just touching limiter in 4th which then required a 5th gear change 30m before the line. Hope this helps, anyways just my two cents.

Solid 60fts mate!

Edit : This was my best time i managed with my betty. Excuse the video quality.

Changed early because of the cut out that occurred, but thanks mate. I found my gearing to be exactly as you describe also.

If it was boost cut you should have a CEL? Mine would throw a CEL whenever it cut, which made it easy to narrow down the issue.

Put your stock shift knob back on, throws are to big now

Went back to Racetorque this morning as the car was lacking some power and there was some hesitation here and there in the rev range. I watched the initial power runs which yielded approx 200kw at the wheels so 30 odd down from before. They cleaned my afm and it made a few more kw's but was still well short. Lane was pretty surprised and basically had to retune the car all over again. The afr's were all over the place he reckons.
Racetorque fabricated and fitted a new muffler to the car a couple of weeks ago so whether that contributed to the problem I don't know.

End result it made 223kw @ 5500rpm and 427nm @ 3800. Retune has also got the power coming on earlier - 400nm @ 3600rpm.

Fuel line extension mods is essential for our model Nick, ur dampener is at resonance, so afr is all over the place.

Yeah thats a solid 60 foot time but the 13.3 et is deffo saying the dyno reading is somewhat generous. But as said with latest power run, it does suggest about 200ish atw.
