Can Verso tune have a dual MAP function like ECUTEK (BRZ and EVO X have this function, unsure if WRX can be done)?

That way you can change between the two pending fuel.

You could in theory have ASG tune your car for E85 and Ulitmate 98 but you would need then need to flash your stock ecu each time you wanted to change fuels. You would then need a laptop and a tactrix open source 2.0 to change between the two maps.

COBB Accessport is looking pretty good right now up to 15 maps and 90 seconds to flash.

Does the Open Source Software cost anything Dave? If not then you only need a laptop (which most people do / can easily get) to make the car usable for long-haul situations.

Dan how do you swap between fuel maps in the BRZ/EmoX?

Warwick from EvoR explained the Si drive in the G3 sti's as only DBW throttle map trickery. There is only one boost taper map available in the ecu.

Hold the cruise control button for X seconds. There is something that flashes/blinks on the dash to show the change in maps.

Perhaps it is not an option for WRX.

Thats an option for sure...
Not sure how easy it would be though...
Like run to empty on 98, go to united fill up on E85 and apply map... or more complicated than that, like need full flush of the fuel tank etc.

Sean is going to get lots of queries in Jan lol

Poor bastard.

No offence but it seems like you raise stuff that was done years ago. Try searching. You're not the first person to have an 06 sti and change a turbo. Or have a 3" tbe for that matter.

You would have to run the tank right down, fill with E85 (reflash ECU) and not drive it hard for the first ~50KM to get most of the 98 out of the tank.

-or-

You could swap the map and fill up the week before you leave so when you fill up before you leave you have a full fresh tank of E85 ready to go.

Suggest you call ASG and speak to Cash as he is on top of this topic of E85/98.
