Can anyone tell me what PSIs the 06-07 BPVs are good for?

From the USA threads it seems like they should be fine up to around 22-23PSI?

I have heard closer to 18 but can be increased by denting in the housing with the back of a screw driver etc. this increases the spring pressure inside. Would still be surprised if it holds to 23 though.

Its definitely 20psi at least, I heard that a few cars here have run 19-20psi on the OEM metal BPV.

Can read on the thread below that the max is closer to around 23psi depending on wear, anyone on pwrx tried 22psi on the stock metal bpv?

I also have read/heard it being 18-19... Could be wrong either way..

Confirmed 20-24 psi no issues!
Just spoke to some people that have 20-24psi going through it and holding no problems.

Unless you are on a dyno you probably have a hard time testing it and confirming that it is not a slight leak. A bit like waste gate springs perhaps.

I used to run a Perrin BOV and it was better than stock on my 08. I changed to a Forge BOV just to help with scoop clearance and was surprised that it sharpened up throttle response. Both were full plumb back.

Guess you will need a new bov then as you are going to be running 26psi+

All these people's cars are dyno tuned and the 24psi one is a well known track car on pwrx

Obviously as its an 08 with a plastic BOV, world of difference with what they handle there. 08+ is known for issues with the plastic bov, can't compare.
