The caltex website for one. It is actually advertised as a variable flex fuel.

And with the united stuff. Personal experience. Ive been running it near on 2 years myself and havent had any issues yet.

Just as a matter of interest, do you run an alcohol content gauge or do you ever test before filling up?

Likewise, haven't had any issues with United E85 without a flex sensor. However it does say on the side of the dispenser that it "contains between 70-85% ethanol" so they allow themselves the same leeway.

I haven't done any testing myself so I'm not sure how much it varies. Would be interesting to know.

a few guys used to test the ethanol prior to filling up each time, but essentially found the united staff stabalised at 84 - 88% so everyone basically stopped testing it, however a dude from antilag tested a batch from the Leda United the other day and got a low reading result (50% from memory) so everyone freaked out and started testing again but has shown the usual 84 - 88%

No. My car is dedicated e85, not flex fuel. I dont gave a home tester, or a gauge for it. But i did do 1 or 2 of the DIY hydroscopic tests when i first converted and was happy with the results. So since then i just pump it in and trust with blind faith.

Mine will be run the same way, no gauge or tester.
I thought I needed one but when Sean said that its absolutely not needed for United race blend e85 as it is very consistent, I decided not to get one.
He only recommends the ECA for people running flex tunes now.

Looks like Osborne Park will be my homie, it's the closest one from Vic Park.

By the way anyone get news on new locations for WA, I've messaged their facebook page to ask but no response.
