I had BC coilovers. I think they where great and more that adequate for a road car!

Talking about yourself there Alex??

I liked the look of it off some of the flame throwing cars I saw on youtube...decided to give it a go.

I bought the red ones, will see how they look in person when it arrives, might go on the car if its not too full on or otherwise in the FS forum

If I like the look of it, so be it :-)

It is nowhere near as bad as the huge blue placticky flaps with the huge STI logo on it, them ones you get off ebay...

haha once you start you cant stop haha
i think coilovers and thats it for looks maybe darker tints and
thats it for looks vise then start on the engine
thinking bigger turbo and injectors and retune just gotta see
whats a good turbo combo

Lots of combos...but probably easier to stick with direct bolt on turbo rather than going mod crazy and going for external gated turbos etc...

Lots of people on this forum can give you lots of combos and opinions...

From my somewhat limited knowledge, I would go for a direct bolt on Blouch XTR model (as you got forged pistons you can push harder I guess and go bigger than 18G turbo) and Injector Dynamics 1000cc or more injectors plus fuel pump then tune on E85...

That's what I was thinking to maybe(BIG MAYBE) do if I can justify spending the money in the future and not worry about resale value etc...for now I'm very happy with how she goes and will be even more with the tune/racing exhaust, I'll be happy with that for sure and won't see the point in going swapping turbo etc... I might just do the injectors/E85 for a bucketload more torque/power as I already have the right fuel pump.

Depending on your age/history, you might struggle with insurance too once you mod the turbo, just keep that in mind, and may have to go with the likes of just car (just shit!) etc.

EDIT: Actually very slim chance of me swapping turbo...I'm actually very happy with how my car goes right now and will be even more after the simple mods I'm putting in...only thing I might do is the E85 retune with injectors...I want to keep my engine as stock as I possibly can, I did after all find a stock car for that reason, one that was still a Subaru under the bonnet...for yours its already quite modified, so you might as well go for it as it will handle the mods/power.

wow thanks for the write up.... yea only want bolt on turbo
its already got a fuel pump
and surge too

im 28 And insurance never had issues with ive owned quiet
few modded cars in the past (not many wrxys)

Ill go past mms during the week and have a chat as they know
the car pretty well and see what they suggestion is.

even tho it has forgies etc i dont wana push it to the max
i wana have a reliable with bit more power then now

Check out ProSpeedRacing website for your bolt on turbo/injectors...you can call him and ask for turbo options, turbos are his bread and butter (also browse Blouch website for model descriptions with more detail of horsepower range then PSR for pricing/availability)

All you need is to buy the turbo(and injectors) from PSR and then take it to mms for fitting/tune as its EcuTek locked.

With the injectors be careful of buying off ebay(at your own risk), there's lots of non genuine Injector Dynamics floating on there.

as for fitting my brothers a mechanic we
would bolt it all up and tow it for tuning

would the TMIC be plenty for a bigger turbo???
