To be honest I quite enjoy the autos, you get the initial kick from the auto (like most automatic cars) then the turbo spools and you really feel it, feels like no lag at all

Anyways, nice purchase, was looking at this car awhile back

Enjoy it
I've had a lot of fun so far, I put her into power mode and give her a bit of hell and she still goes pretty darn quick. Amazing around the bends. If I love the auto I'm going to be crazy on the manual though I rekon

Bought a 33 GTR about 7momthd ago. It's done like 3000km in that time lol been in and out of workshops, and now has a yellow sticker so gotta save up for another 6 months to get that off so I can get racing haha

That's why I got a daily first though :P
Haha, fair enough! Good to see you didn't give up your passion and sell out to become a boring driver

Used to have an auto with forged internals, vf29 etc running 1.8 bar. After take off through the gears absolutely no lag. Got the guys at Allstars to wind up the stall on the trans, could stall it up to 5500 then launch..... Never as quick as my manual custard and no good on the track but bloody practical.

Sounds like it was a weapon!
I don't plan to really use mine on the track or do anything too full on, just a daily and an intro to the world of fast subi's
Saving up for an 07 Sti I rekon, maybe a new wrx.

Like most will tell you mate spend minimal on the daily and save up for what you really want, at least you have had exposure to the chasis and will surely see the difference with an STi

New tyres done today at Swan Tyres, great service and discount as they do all the tyres for my companies vehicles

I got 4 brand new 225/40/R18 Hankook K117 tyres, $225 a corner which isn't bad.

Very grippy and feel great so far!

Alright time to start doing some stuff!

Service due at the end of the month, so depending on how that goes I have a few options...

I'm thinking of getting my stereo system done as I'm sick to death of the scratchy/crackly sound quality.

Anywhere affiliated with the club I can get this done? I'm north of the river so don't want to trek too far if I can help it.

Was thinking of getting a quote done at Alberts car and stereo on scarb beach road in Osborne park...
