I'm pretty useless at DIY, so defs want somebody who is a pro to do it!
I'll get some quotes locally first I guess, and I'll check out the morley Alberts, it's next to the licensing centre I think?

I've had some work done by Alberts, they are pretty good. A basic install for a head unit is $150 and normally takes less than an hour.

Gotta say here, Westside in Morley have helped me out on more than one occasion and have the time to spend with you making sure you get the best system for your budget.

Install was flawless, still happy with it.

I had the guys install a really nice amp - Alpine PDX-V9, Morel front and rear speakers, Alpine HU which allows bluetooth audio streaming (CDE-148EBT), phone etc, Nice sub for $2100 i think it was, drive out.

For me, i use the bluetooth audio streaming HEAPS, directly from my Nexus 5 (Android) to the system works awesome.

Got iPod connectivity also inside my glovebox, but barely use that as the direct bluetooth is easier and way more "on demand" for new music without needing to take the iPod out to upload new music to it.

Sub is easily removed from boot for track days. I did however had to fab up a new boot board with some strapping, as using just valcro for driving around the street was not enough to hold it in place. A few brackets would do the trick also to keep it in place.

I avoided the touch screen as i wanted a Single DIN unit.

Sounds like a decent setup! Think I'll go the bigger head unit though, just as I plan to get gauges setup too so want the interior to look a bit better, good sound quality is my main goal though as I do a fair bit of driving

Thanks for the input lads

Under new management now, but I'll just get a quote, Osborne park would be good as it's down the road from my work

Quoted $2800 at Alberts OP, for full front and back with sub and amp, including Alpine touchscreen head unit that plays DVD and has Bluetooth etc.

Seems pretty pricey but he showed me everything and it sounds pretty great.

Any thoughts?
