Just straight e85 atm. Will lower boost if ethanol content is reduced

Use runin oil for 20min, then drain it out, change filter, followed by 500km runin period on 1 bar boost, below 5000rpm. Engine braking, boosting repeatedly to settle rings.

My tuner suggested that I could run a 98 map and then an e70ish map and then a full blown e85 map if I wanted but I didn't pay too much attention at the time. I will wait until I can go full flex tune.

My engine builder told me to stick with 98 for runin to ensure proper lubrication.

Agree that you wouldn't want to push it early anyhow.

Very conservative break in process. I would support this. Much better than the local car sales man that says they are already broken in from the factory.... Drive them hard.

Funny they say to prime the oil system by cranking with no fuel/spark. Surely you would force pressurized oil into the system before even touching the key on a motor as expensive as a cossy csx600? Every engine guy ive ever seen does it that first.

That's what assembly lube is for.
I've always lathered the stuff on everything apart from the bores which are coated in engine oil as are the pistons when I fit them. I more or less dip them in oil prior to fitting them

I'll pre fill the filter, before fitting it.
Then fill the engine with required amount of oil and crank with spark plugs removed until I have oil pressure.

Once I have oil pressure, I put the spark plugs in. I'll then crank it a bit more with the crank sensor removed again until oil pressure is achieved. I'll then pop the crank sensor on and fire it up.

Hasn't failed me yet.
