Are you running your oem fuel pump wiring?

I had to run external power and a relay to run the 450l/h

No I'm using the oem fuel pump +ve feed as a trigger to a seperate relay which is wired directly to the battery.

Yeah that's my current setup at the moment.

450l/h I think draws around 14 amps so probably a good idea to have on a separate relay.

Be sure to use the right gauge cable when running the power to the relay. Mine was melting 15/20A fuse holders and Fuses.

Hey Brett did you have that issue with DW300 too or only the bigger Walbro? I have just had the DW300c installed in my STi.

Sorry to thread hijack Gordon.

No issue with the DW300, that didn't draw anywhere near as much. 2 people I know are running the 300 off the factory fuel pump wiring with no added relay or hard active off the battery.

Just the 450 draws decent current.

What do people know about pro fuel controllers such as those sold by Aeromotive or DCCD Pro etc?

does it allow the pump to turn off if the engine stalls? i thought that may have been controlled on the negative side of the circuit?
