Yeah that was us, up the hill..
Over that hill is a Bloody fast bit of road, about 1km straight on over 2 'flat crests' to a restricted speed zone at bottom of the hill.. Slowing from about 210kph to 60 on greasy rough roads is interesting.......

:-)

It is a cool, long fast stage.. Other than Manji townsite, probably the most enjoyable..

Was a shame it was wet, as I would have been a bit 'braver' through some of the 5 & 6's and held it flat... From memory I got soft at about 210 kph, we knocked off 30 odd' seconds off on the second pass and it was raining harder.....

Love the videos Ash - understeer-oversteer-understeer-oversteer. Your Heidi appears to be quite fast now....

Saw it go past on the tilt tray (I was over the fence, roped into being starter for the khana). Hopefully not too much work to be ready for the main event next month.

Hi All,
Yes, had a brake failure coming into final chicane, pedal went to the floor, we were passengers, hit big arse square kerb near drag start line... Hopefully get it in the air tonight and find what broke causing the failure..

Fair bit of damage, unfortunately Targa West looks unlikely at this stage.. Cant really afford the repair bill & $10K to do the event..

In the interest of a number of factors, guys, can I please ask if you were 1 of the many taking photos, please keep them to yourself....

If anyone knows of someone wrecking 08-12 impreza or wrx.. Id be very keen on a chat... :-)
