Default Jack's RS Driveway

After owning my car for over 9 months now and playing around with it here and there and finally getting around to getting some pics of her, I've finally been able to get this going.

It all started when i bought my first 92 Liberty RS being and i loved driving it and getting it ready to hit the track. A few of you would probably know it. Unfortunately after about 6 months of having it she became a repairable write-off like this:

It was a sad day, but i bought her back off the insurance company and used her as a parts car for the new 92 RS. I bought her completely stock with a bit of rust and some nice 17" Speedlines at around 270,000 kms:

Over the 9 months i've owned her i've added bits and pieces to her and its been great fun. The parts list is as follows:

Engine: Engine is standard with a coil on plug conversion.
It still runs the WAIC and i have no desire to change at this stage. Standard Turbo.
HKS 3" turbo back exhaust.

Drivetrain: Manual 5spd long ratio.
Penrite Pro Gear 75w-90 gear oil.
Excedy standard single plate clutch.
Standard rear diff.

Suspension: Cusco zero 3 fully adjustable struts with adjustable tops, (-2.5 front and -1.5/2 rear camber).
Standard front swaybar.
Standard rear swaybar, just need to swap some rear hub arms to fit the whiteline swaybar thats on the wreck.

Brakes and Wheels: Gc8 Wrx 4 pot front calipers with standard rear calipers.
DBA T3 5000 2-piece slotted dics on the front with T2 slotted discs on the rear.
QFM A1RM brake pads all round.
Braided brake lines front.
Penrite Racing Dot 4 brake fluid.
Speedline 17x7.5 rims in white.
Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R tyres to complete the handling.

Exterior: The exterior is in fairly good shape, rust spots here and there and well as chipped paint and clear coat coming off.
She came with stickers on the doors and Sti stickers on making an appearance on every side of the car, whether she is an Sti though is yet to be proven.
Window tint was done with tint a car's octane tint all round.

Interior: Gc8 Sti front seats have replaced the stock ones.
Rear seats have remained stock for now.
Gear stick has been replaced with an Sti one.
The pedals are stock, but i do have plans to change them to Sti.

Things that need fixing: The paint.
RH rocker cover gasket.
RH front outer cv joint.
M seals for the doors.

Future Parts List: Engine rebuild using the block from the wreck and 98 wrx heads, (forged pistons, billet conrods, new bearings,Sti metal head gaskets, arp head studs, and a new set of vavles).
VF34.
2.7 Sti steering rack with braided power steering lines.
Link ecu to get the engine build to get close to 300bhp.
Speedflow 200 series braided black 3/8 fuel lines, (pumping to 1000cc side feed injectors if i can get them).
Sti pedals.
Whiteline Anti-lift kit.
Butler 3" turbo back exhaust.
Unequal length headers.
Might do Anti-lag and rotational idle with the link ecu if i can.

So yeah, thats the car and the plans, if you see me driving around feel free to wave or make noise as you drive by :P
spec 04, AWDmoke, Tiigga and 2 others like this.

Always love to watch an RS build, I owned a 95 LX lib back in the day and it always has a spot in my heart.

Hey JFirth94,
nice looking car mate, im struggling to find any sort of upgrades for my Lib, how would i go about getting the swaybars, engine parts (without hybriding it w/ a wrx)?
Especially looking for the equal headers...

I'm not too sure as most of my upgrades came off my wrecked rs, but swaybars and strut braces should be available locally at places like pedders, if you want equal length headers i do have some i don't want, they do run close to some wiring under the radiator so you'd probably need to wrap them or move the wiring.

How many kms have they done? Stainless Steel? Would the turbo outlet be the same as my TD05H?

They haven't done many kms, though they do have some heat colour in them, and the up pipie housing to turbo is the standard housing
