It would fit, although I have not tried. There is deceivingly sufficient room in the car

We have had five in the car including two forward facing baby seats (12yo in the middle), it was comfortable in the front.

looks like a ford taurus but with a merc front end and bulgy bits on the bonnet, luckily they sound pretty tough though
