Those bride seats looked awesome. No wonder they sold so quickly. Are you new ones Recaro?

Dan [GTI] 20-05-2016 08:57 AM

The new seats are stock items from a SG9 Forester STI, they are not the swanky Recaros the later model STI got unfortunately, but they colour match perfectly and actually are very supportive and hold you in very well.

While I was putting my grubby hands everywhere I decided to give the whole interior a good wipe down.

That last shot reminds me so much of my old Forester. It looked identical until I put my OMPs in....

Looks great, mate!

Edit: Thinking back, the steering wheel and the JDM black centre console were actually mine. I sold them to Yeung when I parted out my car.

I used your posts (amongst others) on OxFoz in a VF34 P20 discussion which finally sealed the deal on the turbo choice. So I a way I am following in your modifications....

So after about 45 minutes of mucking around with the rear seats I made a little progress, but I needed to do something different. So I started a project that has been put aside for the last week: DIY BMX Gear Knob

Took a set of old BMX handle bars, VANS BMX Grip, cut about 150mm off the end, get a tuner wheel nut (rounded outs, M12x1.25 threaded) and belt it into the bar. I was lucky enough that the tuner nut was 0.5mm bigger then the bar so with the assistance of a big hammer it is solid.

It might not be to everyones taste, but it makes the car easier to drive in my opinion, compensates for the short shifters reduced height and I like it :3gears:
;838423']So some late night, impulse shopping but my back and wife will thank me for it. The seat as SG9 Forester STI items, matching front and back. Once I stop procrastinating and put them in I will post fap material.

So anyone wanting a set of BRIDE seats (one dark dark blue, one black) and rails keep an eye out for a sales thread.
Might be able to see you while driving now ;)

I can see over the bonnet, it's amazing ;)

Kremer930 21-05-2016 07:21 PM

The new seats look good too.

When everyone said that the car money stops when the wedding ring appears... pfffft, not likely.

SpiffyOZ Ultraleggera (17X8 +35) rims that only tip the scales at a fraction under 6.5KG. A hefty 3KG less then the current rims.

Turbo, tune, seats and now track rims. Semi slicks and RBF600 brake fluid next, then back to the track.
