Not to disagree with the safety rule, but I have a memory from years ago spectating at Brands Hatch UK.
In a very neat maneouver, a Jag passed a Mini on the inside of a tight corner. We argued for ages after if it was superb driving by the Jag or if performance of the Mini was over-rated.
