Brendon - I'm not sure about multiple map switching on the fly, but you can swap maps pretty easily via a laptop.
Save you current tune (call it Targa.CAL) on your lappy, then get a re-tune for the extra mods (call it Dutton.CAL) & load it up when you need it. Once you've got the maps saved on your PC it's easy to switch them. Is your tune locked?

When we asked Leigh to set that system up to be switchable in the cabin Fred, he said he can do it, it'll just take some time to set up

Probably takes 5mins to do via laptop connection.

Its no biggie and not very likely to be done on the fly. Would always switch the car off and start again. Using the lappie would not be an issue but would be nice to have a few unique things in the car. Having said that if I thought it would impede reliability it would come out in two seconds.
As for my tune being locked I have no idea. RT did it so you would probably know more than me. Also I never got the cable with my ecu. Is it meant to come with it or is that something that you have to buy seperately. Also can you plug the laptop in and use that to data log? Does anyone know what the capabilities of the SM4 Pnp are in this area? Brendon

It may be locked - they do (& don't) lock them depending on customer, car, mods, etc - best to ring & ask in your case.
If you bought it new, you should have got a data cable. Once you've got the cable you can log just about anything - either live to laptop or stored & downloaded later from ecu memory. You can save the data logs & view them later, even print out data sheets - great for the data logging junkies. You can also adjust tune parameters, LC settings, etc - definately worth it @ no extra cost - unlike MoTeC ;-) Software is free to - just download it from Autronic website. Here are a couple data log screen dumps - 1st shot to check LC set-up, 2nd shot showing boost control @ WOT.

the autronic software is agricultural - MS DOS style - compared to Link G3/Motec style it's FUBAR.
