    Because need degree first.

I completely understand that point of view Jeck. I feel I need to (weak will power). 1 cruise will turn into many cruises haha.

Its only a short term sacrifice for (hopefully) a long term gain.

Hmm, My degree had 16hrs a week of lectures and tutes, maybe the same again, on average, or at most doing study and assignments.

It helps doing things outside Uni to help clear the head. Life can get really lonely behind books, much less behind the wheel.

Or if you like the 6 point but don't have the seat to accommodate this simply remove the inner leg straps of the 6 point to make it a 4 point.

I have this Sabelt 4 Point Lightweight Racing Harness | FIA Approved Motorsport Safety Harness | Rallynuts which can add Crutch Straps - T Type Crutch Strap to make it a 6 point, or this Crutch Straps - Negative G Strap to make it a 5 point once I change out the Sti seats.

Been doing a little looking for the harness. Just waiting on replies from a few places as to whether they can get me the 4-pt ASM variant (they only stock 6-pt's).

I thought TAKATA was overpriced from RSD.com.

Can get a 4-pt ASM TAKATA for $380.00 (+ $76.00 shipping) from DemonTweeks and this is what I'm leaning towards now.

Had a look at that one. Tommy that's exactly what I'm after. Thanks so much for the suggestion. Will look into where I can source one/order one from.

*edit* Found out Searle Race Equipment stock them. Sweet!

Yeah ive been looking at harnesses off RSD.com

Sparco 3" 4-pt Harness $250 + Shipping. Seems to be the go with some shoulder pads. The Velo is good but that extra width would help alot. Also the belt buckle clip design is good for ease of use except if you tighten your shoulder straps up too much it slips up your stomach haha (not sure if this is the case will all harness designs).

    TAKATA = crack priced.

As it stands I have no intention of putting my sub + seat back in. Too addicted now.

I missed No Limits on Thursday due to illness (gastro...yuck). All good as my entry has been carried over for Jack's Hill Climb which I have never done.

If you can, go a 3" wide harness where you can shane, the wider it is the better you can strap yourself in.

just keep the eyelets and don't worry about the harness bar, you're going to spend money on something that essentially is going to do what you have now.
get a gopro and stick it on.

Hahaha thanks Dave. You can thank the other Dave (Master D) for getting me hooked.

I have the eye bolts Burke but I don't think they are welded in. I would go the Meridian harness bar where you can run back-seats and just clip the harness in and out but I really don't have passengers so I'm leaning towards the ever popular Sparco harness bar.

Sticking with my stock front seats as I really don't want the thought of airbags not working on my mind while going around Barbs (may just get a wider 3" harness).

Need to find out how to mount / what cameras will fit on the bar.

May keep the stereo, can't really hear the rattles from the front anyway even with the back seat out.

Don't you already have the eye bolts welded in to the back?

No Limits - 12th December: Getting quicker.

I'll definitely ask them to do that for me next time in Jan guys.

Aprpreciate the tip! I get particularly confused with the back section of the short track. Franz explained it but I guess seeing it will be better.

    What he said!

I found this especially helpful having some of the guys drive my car. Helps you pick lines, apexs and where to place the car on the track!
