great, so not only do red arrows not turn off anymore to become a give way, i have to actually stop for a red light? fuck.

Ahh thats ok then

They use markings on the road and have a nice little shutter on the back so you kinda know if their is a camera in them and not just a flash unit like so many in the uk...

I lived in Japan for a couple of years, I just got back recently.

Their whole attitude to red lights is.....wierd.

They kinda treat em like a yellow, you have people still driving through when the light has been red for a few seconds.
I saw it happen in front of the cops and nothing was done about it.
